The beer board shall have the power and it is directed to regulate the selling, storing for sale, distributing for sale, and manufacturing of beer within the city in accordance with the provisions of this chapter and state law, to include the issuance, suspension, and revocation of any license. The beer board shall also regulate, as permitted by law, matters related to any other alcoholic beverage, whether defined as an intoxicating liquor or otherwise.
