Athens City Code

All requests for the closure or closure and abandonment of streets or rights-of-way shall be submitted in writing to the community development department and shall include the reasons for such a request. The request shall include proof in the form of a signed petition, or other written documentation, that all other property owners affected by the proposed closure or closure and abandonment have been contacted and concur with the request.
