Athens City Code

1. (1) When the plumbing code refers to the "chief appointing authority," or the "administrative authority," it shall be deemed to be a reference to the city manager.
2. (2) When the city engineer, engineering department, plumbing official, or inspector is named or referred to, it means the person appointed or designated by the city manager to administer and enforce the provisions of the plumbing code.
