AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING AND ENACTING A NEW CODE FOR THE CITY OF ATHENS, TENNESSEE; 
PROVIDING FOR THE REPEAL OF CERTAIN ORDINANCES NOT INCLUDED THEREIN; PROVIDING A 
PENALTY FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF; PROVIDING FOR THE MANNER OF AMENDING SUCH 
CODE; AND PROVIDING WHEN SUCH CODE AND THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE.  
  
 I. Updating the City’s MS4 Stormwater Ordinance 1138 for Compliance  
                    First Reading of ORDINANCE NO. 1138: 
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 14 ENTITLED ‘ZONING AND LAND USE CONTROL’ BY 
AMENDING CHAPTER 5 OF THE ATHENS MUNICIPAL CODE TO AMEND THE STORMWATER 
MANAGEMENT ORDINANCE.
