Bids were received for the above referenced project at Athens City Hall on Wednesday 
September 10, 2025 at 4 pm. Two construction firms submitted bids for this project. The results 
of the base bids were as follows: 
1. Wilson Construction   $2,031,553.99 (low bidder) 
2. Wilamut Construction   $2,589,614.78 
Subsequent due diligence has been conducted on Wilson Construction’s bid documents, and their 
bid has been found to be responsive, in order, and compliant with the project’s terms and 
conditions. 
It is therefore our recommendation that this contract be awarded to Wilson Construction. If you 
concur with Gresham Smith’s recommendation, please confirm the City’s approval. 
A detailed summary of the bids received is attached to this letter.
