I. Welcome 
a. Roll Call: 
SISTER CITIES PROGRAM 
MINUTES 
MEETING OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS 
Thursday, March 19, 2026 
12:00pm - City Hall 
i. Present: Betty Ruleman, Sandra Kinney, Randy Dowling, Anna Barrios, Larry Eaton, 
Becky Simpson and Lindsey Ferguson 
ii. Absent: Joe Barnett and Austin Fesmire 
II. Approval of Minutes 
a. Motion was made by Randy Dowling, seconded by Becky Simpson, for the approval of the 
February 3, 2026 minutes. 
Motion carried 
Ill. New Business 
a. Planning for 2026 Chinzei Gakuin Visit - The Board discussed having one of the "free" days of the 
student's at Dollywood and would need approximately $1500 for the visit. Schedule changes 
would need to be made; Dollywood on Friday, July 17th, City Hall visit on Wednesday, July 22nd 
from l0am-lpm and then lunch would be provided from 1-2pm (sandwiches and chips). Possibly 
add one of the Asian Culture Lecture series events and a Mayfield tour and a sponsor for a pizza 
dinner one night. 
b. Lecture Series from the Asian Culture Center- Sandra contacted Naoko Podhorski, from the Asian Culture 
Series, and received possible classes and dates to choose from . The Board discussed and decided on the 
Sushi making class April 30th, with a 2nd choice of April 20th; the Bento Box making class May 14th, with a 2nd 
choice of May 21st; the Japanese Tea Ceremony on October 6th . 
c. Industry Vacancy- The Board discussed if no one is available at Denso, their next choice would be Donna 
Ballew at Mayfield Dairy. 
IV. The meeting adjourned at 1:01pm. (Next meeting set for Thursday, April 9, 2026)
