procurement office for approval and authorization for the City to proceed with bidding the project. 
 
Kimley-Horn staff will assist the city in responding to questions that arise during the bidding process 
and issue statements of clarification or bid addenda as appropriate.  Kimley-Horn will be present for the 
bid opening, if requested, and meet with City of Athens staff following the bid opening to assist with bid 
review.  In addition, Kimley-Horn will tabulate the bids received and evaluate the compliance of the bids 
with the bidding documents. Kimley-Horn will prepare a written summary of this tabulation and 
evaluation and submit the bid tabulation and other required documentation to the City for review and 
approval to award the contract to the lowest responsive bidder. 
 
Scope 5 – Wall Design 
It is understood that parking lot design may require on site retaining wall(s). If site walls are required, 
Kimley-Horn will show approximate location and height of walls in Tasks 1.2 & 1.3. Upon client approval, 
Kimley-Horn will coordinate with industry partners to provide retaining wall design plans. This scope 
assumes Redi-Rock or segmental block wall construction.   
 
Additional Services 
Any services not specifically provided for in the above scope, as well as any changes in the scope the 
City requests, will be considered Additional Services and will be performed at our then current hourly 
rates. Additional Services Kimley-Horn can provide include, but are not limited to, the following: 
• Additional meetings beyond those outlined in the above scope. 
• Additional analysis beyond the scope that is outlined above. 
• Additional design beyond the scope that is outlined above. 
• Additional site visits beyond those outlined in the above scope. 
• Photometric Plans 
• Site Survey 
• Construction phase services 
• Others as requested by the Client. 
 
 
 
INFORMATION PROVIDED BY CLIENT 
 
Kimley-Horn shall be entitled to rely on the complet
 eness and accuracy of all information provided by 
the Client or the Client’s representatives. The Client shall provide all information requested by Kimley-
Horn during the project including but not limited to:  
• Site Survey 
• Photometric Plans
