X b. Appointment to the McMinn County Library Board 
Overview 
Currently, the city has one vacancy on the McMinn County Library Board out of its three members 
due to the resignation of John Duggan.  
Two city residents have submitted applications for the one va cancy, Jacob Burnette and Amy 
Sullins, to fill Mr. Duggan’s unexpired 3-year term until June 30, 2026.   
This item was discussed during the December 17, 2024 regular se ssion a nd January 13, 2025 work 
se
ssion.  
Action to Consider 
Motion, second, and vote are needed to appoint one of the two applicants to the McMinn County 
Library Board for an unexpired 3-year term until June 30, 2026.
