ATHENS BEER BOARD MINUTES OF MEETING August 20, 2024 The Athens City Council, sitting as the Athens Beer Board, met in regular session on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at 7:27 p.m. in the Burkett L. Witt Council Chambers with Chairman Sherlin presiding. Upon roll call, the following members were present: Curtis, Witt-McMahan, Pelley, Eaton, Sherlin The following decisions were made and ordered made a part of the records of the Athens Beer Board. -1- APPROVAL OF MINUTES The minutes of the regular meeting of July 16, 2024, were submitted. Board Member Pelley moved to approve; Board Member Eaton seconded. No discussion. Motion approved. Roll call vote: AYES: Curtis, Witt-McMahan, Pelley, Eaton, Sherlin NAYS: None -2- OLD BUSINESS -3- NEW BUSINESS Approve package store (off-premises consumption) Beer Permit for Holy Smoky Beer, Tobacco, and Gift Store located at 914 Dupit Street, Athens, TN 37303 Board Member Curtis moved to approve; Board Member Witt-McMahan seconded. Motion approved. Roll call vote: AYES: Curtis, Witt-McMahan, Pelley, Eaton, Sherlin NAYS: None
