Regional Humane Society 
 
Overview 
A memorandum of agreement has been prepared between the city and McMinn Regional Humane 
Society (MRHS) to outline the understanding and responsibilities of each party regarding the joint 
development and operations of the new animal shelter. The memorandum of agreement is attached 
and has been distributed to the city attorney for review with consultation with the Humane Society. 
 
Action to C onsider  
Consensus to move this item to the February 18, 2025 regular meeting for consideration.
