AGREEMENT

WHEREAS, the McMinn County Emergency Communications District was created
to provide the most efficient and modern centralized emergency communications network
possible to serve the citizens of McMinn County and the surrounding areas; and,

WHEREAS, City of Athens, Tennessee, has expressed a desire to become a user of

this emergency communications network;

NOW, THEREFORE, in order to memorialize the working arrangement between these

parties, they have contracted in the following particulars:

THIS AGREEMENT is made and entered into on this 30" day of June 2024, by and between
the McMinn County Emergency Communications District, (hereinafter referred to as

“Provider”), an agency created pursuant to TCA 7-86-101 et seq. with the principal offices located at

1107 S. Congress Parkway, Athens, Tennessee 37303, and the City of Athens, Tennessee,

(hereinafter referred to as “User”) with its principal address located at 815 N. Jackson Street,

Athens, Tennessee 37303.

WITNESSETH:
For and in consideration of the sum of One Dollar ($1.00), cash in hand paid, the receipt
of which is hereby acknowledged, and other mutual covenants and understandings contained,

herein, the parties agree as follows:

1. Subject Matter

“Provider” shall furnish and provide emergency communications and dispatching

services, and any agreed upon select non-emergency dispatching services.
