MINUTES MEETING OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS Wednesday, August 12, 2026 12:00pm — City Hall I. Welcome a. Roll Call: i. Present: Betty Ruleman, Anna Barrios, Bridget Roberts, Larry Eaton, Becky Simpson, and Lindsey Ferguson ii. Absent: Joe Barnett, Donna Ballew, and Austin Fesmire Il. Approval of Minutes a. Motion was made by Lindsey Ferguson, seconded by Betty Ruleman, for the approval of the July 8, 2026 minutes. Motion carried Ith. New Business a. Recap of the 2026 Chinzei Gakuin Visit- Anna informed the Board that the kids loved everything and thought it was wonderful. The Dollywood trip was great, the middle school families worked out well and they loved their proclamations. Planning for 2026 Isahaya City Officials Visit (October 18-22) — Board discussed planning ideas for the visit, i.e. state casual dress on the itinerary, type of clothing required for the Denso visit, the invitations for the TWU lunch and who to invite, etc. IV.
