Mr. Medders introduced Mark Texter.

Mr. Medders said as discussed in the workshop, Clayton Homes purchased this. The road
is the same; they are widening the lots. This concept plan is preliminary plat. Mr. Casteel
said they would need to show the fire hydrants on the plat and that has been done. They
are asking for approval of the preliminary plat concept plan.

MOTION: Move to approve to the preliminary plat concept plan.

2. Public Comments and Commercial Driveway Approval on East Street

There was no public comments.

Mr. Beavers said he owned the property at 705 East Avenue which is Papaw’s Place
Auction. The lot next door is an empty field. He owns it also. When tractor trailers come
into his building, the GPS brings them in on Redfern Drive. When you turn left, they
have to go down past the UPS past him to turn in. He would like to put a 40-foot
driveway on that piece of property where they can just turn. He wants to stop a problem
before it happens, because they had a tractor trailer about 3 weeks ago in the UPS area

and could not get turned around. He would like to do the driveway and Jack Roberts is
going to do the work.

Mr. McConkey said Mr. Burchfield’s comments were in the packet and Public Works
was good with it, so there should not be a problem.
