We have reviewed the apparent low bid submitted by KTM Builders LLC for the above referenced 
project. The Base Bid amount of $5,810,000 plus the Unit Prices of $175,590, for a total of $5,985,590, 
this is within the anticipated Bid Target. 
 
During our review, it was noted that KTM Builders LLC had a mathematical/clerical error in its bid 
calculation, as the submitted Base Bid did not include the Unit Prices identified in the sealed bid. 
This was reviewed with the City of Athens Attorney, and this error does not create a material 
change that may have impacted the competitive bidding process between the contractors.  
 
We have verified that the license classifications for the General Contractor and the subcontractors 
listed on the Bid Envelope are current and meet the requirements for their respective portions of the 
work. 
 
 
Unless your office has additional questions, we recommend award of the contract to KTM 
Builders LLC for the total contract amount of $5,985,590.
