APPROVAL OF MINUTES

1. Approval of January 8, 2026, regular meeting minutes

The minutes of the December 4, 2025, regular meeting, were read and approved on
motion by Laura Lenoir; seconded by Jona Garrett; vote — unanimous — Councilman
McCowan was not present at the time of the vote.

OLD BUISNESS

There was no old business to discuss.

NEW BUSINESS

1. Ratification of Certificate of Appropriateness- 510 E. Madison Avenue- for removal
of two damaged trees at the rear of the property.

Mrs. Lenoir said two trees fell on her neighbor's truck and in the yard. She had the
one that had already fallen removed and there was another tree leaning towards the
neighbor’s yard.

Mrs. Cardin mentioned that the trees were in the back of yard, only visible from the

alley, not visible from Madison. Staff went ahead and approved COA, and it now just
needs to be ratified by the Commission.
