ATHENS BEER BOARD MINUTES OF MEETING September 17, 2024 The Athens City Council, sitting as the Athens Beer Board, met in regular session on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at 7:48 p.m. in the Burkett L. Witt Council Chambers with Chairman Sherlin presiding. Upon roll call, the following members were present: Curtis, Witt-McMahan, Pelley, Eaton, Sherlin The following decisions were made and ordered made a part of the records of the Athens Beer Board. -1- APPROVAL OF MINUTES The minutes of the regular meeting of August 20, 2024, were submitted. Board Member Curtis moved to approve; Board Member Pelley seconded. Motion approved. Roll call vote: AYES: Curtis, Witt-McMahan, Pelley, Eaton, Sherlin NAYS: None -2- OLD BUSINESS -3- NEW BUSINESS Beer Permit Application: Grocery Outlet #03 located at 1625 Decatur Pike for off-premises consumption beer permit for a grocery store with more than 10,000 sq ft. Board Member Eaton moved to approve; Board Member Curtis seconded. Motion approved. Roll call vote: AYES: Curtis, Witt-McMahan, Pelley, Eaton, Sherlin NAYS: None
