Councilmember Sherlin moved rezoning the property from B-3 to R-2 and put on the market 
to sell; seconded by Vice Mayor Curtis.

D. Potential Acquisition of Downtown Property for Parking and Garbage Dumpster 
Consolidation. 
Vice Mayor Curtis moved to authorize staff to obtain an appraisal of this property to 
determine fair market value, obtain a Phase I environmental assessment to determine if any 
environmental issues are present on the site, and authorize the City Manager to make an 
offer to the owner based on the appraised value; seconded by Councilmember Sherlin.
