I believe that we, as citizens, have a responsibility to serve our community. My background has
provided familiarity with utility infrastructure and processes.

Describe qualifications that you possess which would benefit this board and the citizens of this
community:

My experience includes many years with an electric utility. Also, residential and commercial real
estate_development_provided_exposure_to water, gas, sewer, cable, and telecommunication

infrastructure.

List present and past city boards, commissions, or committees on which you have served or
continue to serve and indicate years of service on each:

I served on Athens City Council 1995-2008. During that time, | was a member of Athens Planning

Commission, Athens Housing Authority, Historic Preservation Commission, Economic Development
Authority, Juvenile Services Committee. I currently serve on the Citizens Advisory Committee,
Board of Zoning Appeals, Board of Adjustments and Appeals

List civic organizations within Athens and McMinn County of which you are an active
participant:

Athens Kiwanis Club Co-chair, Young Children Priority One Committee,
Member, Legion of Honor

List present and future expectations for the City of Athens: | think that our city has the potential

to_grow_ in several areas including commercial and industrial expansion along with residential
development. Our utility infrastructure is robust and needs to maintain capacity to meet future

opportunities and challenges.

The dates of board meetings are listed on the attached committee summary. Will your
current employer/occupation allow you the opportunity to attend these meetings on a regular
basis? Yes X ; No I think board members have an obligation to attend.
