RE:   RFP-23-08 Animal Shelter Kennel 
 
Attached is the bid tabulation for the Request for Bid 23-08.  We had one proposal for the 
kennels and the installation of the kennels.  We are recommending the council approve 
Midmark’s proposal, in the amount of $291,009.50.  Public Works and I have met with the 
vendor to make sure this is the best solution for the City of Athens, TN. They have agreed to 
hold the pricing until December 29, 2023, and installation will begin between February and 
March.  Over the phone, the vendor stated there would be a further discount, and they will 
send that in writing.
