Dear Mr. Fiveash:  
 
GEOServices, LLC  appreciates the opportunity to provide you with our proposal for a geotechnical 
exploration fo r the  subject project.  The following proposa l outlines our understanding of the project 
requirements based on the email received on Thursday, March 17, 20 22, and our subsequent phone 
conversations. This proposal provides a general description of the project , the associated costs, and the 
proposed schedule.  In addition, we have attached our Agreement for Services that establishes contractual 
arrangements. This attachment should be completed and forwarded to our office.    
 
PROJECT DESCRIPTION 
 
GEOServices, LLC (GEOS) understand that Gresham Smith has been awarded the project of resurfacing of 
various streets for the City of Athens.  Based on our conversations, we understand  that this will include 
making areas ADA compliant, resurfacing, overlays, full depth  reclamation and other possible pavement 
repairs.  GEOServices has been asked to perform a series of exploratory asphalt cores to determine the  
existing pavement section, evaluate the subgrade and provided recommendations for the repair of these 
sections.   The pavement sections which are included as part of the resurfacing effort are outlined below.  
Please note that the exploration will not include all of the areas, as a repair alternative has already been 
selected on some of the pavement sections outlined below.
