MINUTES Recreation Advisory Board/Tree Board/Little League Board Department of Parks and Recreation The Recreation Advisory Board /Tree City USA Board/Little League Board met in a called meeting on Thursday, June 8, 2023, at 11:03 am. Upon roll call the following members were present: Larry Rhodes, Moises Contreras, Ron Starr, Chad Goodin, and Mary Scudder Upon roll call the following members were absent: Johnny Coffman and Bob Miller The following guests and staff members were present: Matt Siniard, Angela Leitzel, Derek Phillips, Daniel Boutte, Kevin Helms, Ben Wilson, and Jim Nelson The following decisions were made and ordered a part of the records of the Recreation Advisory Board/Tree City USA Board/ Little League Board. -1- NEW BUSINESS Pickleball Matt Siniard presented project bid information and plans, from Kevin Helms and Lose Design . The board discussed the base bid, with alternate options. Matt is to make a presentation , with the Board’s recommendation, to City Council at the Study Session on Monday, June 12, 2023. Motion was made by Chad Goodin, seconded by Moises Contreras, to recommend, based on the bids given, the total bid from Baseline, with all alternatives, be funded. Motion carried -3- ADJOURNMENT The meeting adjourned at 12:23 pm.
