SUBJECT: RFB #26-1, Demolition & Clearing of Condemned Structures – 
Recommendation to Award 
The City issued RFB #26-1 for the demolition and clearing of condemned structures located 
within the City of Athens. Sealed bids were received and opened on Wednesday, February 4, 
2026.  At the bid opening, the City received nine (9) bids. After review of bid compliance and 
required submittals, five (5) bidders were determined to be responsive for evaluation. 
RFB Requirements / Considerations 
Per the bid submittal instructions and Addendum No. 1, each address listed is a separate bid 
item and each property is evaluated independently. The City may award to the lowest and most 
responsive bidder for each property and may award to more than one vendor.

Based on the bid tabulation, the lowest responsive bids are as follows:
