FY 2024-25 ACCOMPLISHMENTS 
 
• Repaired the splash pad at Regional Park so all water functions are working.  
 
• Modernized the concession stands point -of-purchase equipment at Regional Park and Ingleside Park 
for better control and pricing of concession items for revenue enhancement.  
 
• Repaired the pavilion and solar panel at Echo Park. 
 
• Installed a Level 2 EV charger (8 hours charging) at Market Park using a grant from TV A. 
 
• Completed Ingleside Park improvements consisting of updated tennis courts and pickleball courts.  
 
• Partnered with TDOT to resurface W. Madison Street, W. Washington Street, N. White Street, and N. 
Jackson Street and restriped the parking spaces around the courthouse for better traffic flow and 
pedestrian safety.   
 
• Purchased various vehicles and equipment including two replacement police vehicles and equipment, 
leaf vacuum machine, bucket truck, and two snowplows for Public Works,  
 
• Continued city hall discussions of renovations, expansions, construction of new facilities, and purchase 
of other existing buildings. 
 
• Issued approximately 20 single-family home building permits.
