Background 
The Public W
orks Department is requesting Council approval for purchase of replacement work 
trucks for multiple divisions in the Department.  
1. Asset #4306;
 F150; Street Cleaning; purchased September 2015
2. Asset #4308; F350; Street Maintenance; purchased November 2015
3. Asset #4319; F350; Street Maintenance; purchased April 2016
4. Asset #4320; F350; Street Construction; purchased April 2016
5. Assets 4314 & 4321; F250 /w dump bed; Street Cleaning; purchased February 2016
6. Asset #4326; F350; Sanitation; purchased April 2016
The Department
 requests procurement of replacements via statewide contract SWC -209 
#88762 t hat include; purchase of 3x d iesel Ford F550  /w rear dump beds  for $ 274,965.00 
($91,655.00 ea.); a Ford F250 /w dump body  for $74,607.00, and 2x Ford F150 crew cabs for 
$91,944.00 ($45,972.00 ea.) This price includes delivery of the equipment to the Public Works 
facility. We anticipate receipt of the F150s immediately  upon approval; the F550 and F2 50 
chassis are MY2027 and are scheduled to be built and delivered by EOY. 
After recei
pt of the equipment, inspection, and addition to the City’s insurance coverage, assets 
#4306, 4308, 4319, 4320, 4314, and 4236 are to be listed as surplus and sold on GovDeals.
